When it comes to hand to hand moves in military fighting, decisive and fast moves are required to bring your opponent to the ground. These fast and decisive moves can help to permanently remove your opponent from the fight. 

Moves in martial arts are to the point and very much aggressive. If you are unable to react at the time this could lead to your death. Inoffensive martial arts strikes are usually meant to kill or disable people. While on the other hand, defensive martial arts are used to block the attack of an opponent and counter punch to beat the opponent. These martial arts are not considered to be deadly.
